Pickleball has rapidly gained popularity and become the fastest growing sport in the United States for 3 years running. According to the Association of Pickleball Professionals, it is estimated that there are over 36.5 million pickleball players in the US. Do you know how many of these players are Black? 

According to the SIFA 2022 Report, 7.3% of pickleball players identify as African-American/ Black.

Mission & Vision

Our mission is to increase the representation of minorities engaged in the sport of pickleball through the promotion of culture and community. We believe pickleball is a sport with both personal and professional opportunities inherent in the sport’s landscape, and, therefore aim to diversify the participants.

Black Pickleball Collective aspires to enable opportunities across the globe to democratize the sport of pickleball. We aim to maintain a low barrier to entry for engaging in the sport in effort to ensure accessibility to underrepresented communities. We are committed to advocating for diversity in the sports landscape by engaging with underrepresented communities, amplifying their vices and creating a diverse narrative.
